RedShiz: Flip the bowl over and use the outside of the bowl for the shape.
xanax05mg: Would the bowl be nicer looking if you flipped the oven bowl upside down and wrapped the tortilla around it?
kewladria: looks so dry 🙁
hockeyrugby: i get that deep frying is probably how it is done but holy fuck how is this a hack? You are not skipping any step
jerkNsmirk: Oops my bad! Sounds good with the cayenne actually. I’m gunna try that next time.
jerkNsmirk: Also lemon juice in the avo and it don’t brown like that
nozitinow: Taco bowls are the dumbest food vessel ever created.
zakwebb47: We do this at home for chilli con carne, it’s so tasty, and I love the texture👌
rshambo_29: whats the temperature and how long do you put them in for?
Bootskon: i always see this done with flour tortillas. I would suggest, though have yet to do so myself, using that type of tortilla I used to accidentally get. I believe it is a soft corn tortilla. They are supposed to be cooked first, I normally see it done on the skillet. Normally when cooking with flour tortillas in anything but on the skillet with some butter, it turns out terribly dry or burnt.
DidntHaveToUseMyAK: Use foil for half the cook time on the rim, and take it off to prevent the completely burnt edges you got there.
Or even better yet, see how a professional does it.
nayrustar: or bake them flat and enjoy as tostadas. a lil less awkward to eat
