kula_shakur: **Slight improvement**: Coat the chicken with a light dusting of corn starch and then pan fry. That super thin, crispy coating you get at the Chinese restaurant? Corn starch. No need for flour or egg.
Also, this does wonders for reheat-ability. Raw, uncoated chicken tends to be gamey when heated up again but, for whatever reason, the corn starch does wonders for keeping the chicken tasting fresh when reheated the next day.

anonmanman: my question is do you have to salt something that you are gonna dump a bunch of soy sauce on
ExplosiveScorpion:
Mealthy is a truly poor name.
jdolan8: Thanks for sharing! This looks amazing, and simple
Shadesmctuba: Not seeing what’s so skinny about orange juice and honey, but whatever, still looks yummy.
eier_des_tigers: I did a similar dish several times, but I also marinate the chicken for a few hours and add coconut milk in the and. Can’t imagine this without the coconut as the orange juice-soy mixture smells nasty
HouseOfYum: [Original Mealthy.com Recipe] (http://mealthy.rurl.me/soc)
**Ingredients:**
½ cup freshly squeezed orange
⅓ cup soy sauce
¼ cup rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon orange zest
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 garlic cloves, grated
1 (1 inch) piece ginger, peeled and grated
2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons cooking oil
4 cups cooked brown rice
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
½ orange, cut into 4 wedges
**Preparation:**
Season chicken with salt and red pepper flakes.
Heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Sear chicken in oil until lightly browned, about 4 minutes.
Stir orange juice, soy sauce, vinegar, orange zest, honey, cornstarch, garlic, and ginger together in a bowl with a whisk until smooth; pour over the chicken, bring to a boil, and cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Remove pan from heat.
Divide brown rice between four bowls; ladle chicken and sauce over the rice. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over the chicken; serve with an orange wedge.

swirly023: Seems nice! But why that insane amount of salt? Might give it a try with a little less salt.
Reddit_is_American: I’m not gonna lie
Come_On_You_Blues: Could you do this with lemon instead of orange?
FramingHips: The pan should be hotter, and you should quickly deglaze with the sauce imo
CardinalBirb: The orange piece is just for aesthetics at the end right?
OldArmyMetal: LOL, skinny.
“I can’t seem to lose weight! I eat nothing but chicken in sugar syrup, but I just can’t get rid of this body fat!”
shootstarpress: Saving.
PEbeling: If that’s not sugar free orange juice this recipe isn’t “skinny”.
Also while honey isn’t the worst source of sugar it still is high in sugar.
Just because you don’t pan fry it in a breading doesn’t make it skinny if you have 50+ grams of sugar.
T5UMG41: The thumbnail looks like pull apart cake. I was sad when I read the title
