Skanky: Step 7. Have your spouse drive you to the hospital after getting third degree burns on the inside of your mouth from the molten cheese explosion.
Step 8. Think back… Worth it.
wooshock: Minneapolis has about five different restaurants who claimed to have invented this burger. It’s been going on for 50 years and it goes on to this day
GlitchSymphony: Safety note: when grinding the meat please do not stick hand in the grinder. Aside from that it looks good

How to Cook a Juicy Lucy (or Jucy Lucy) Cheeseburger
By filing the center of the patty with cheese, you get a truly juicy burger, this all gives it a slightly different texture to your usual burger.
Ingredients
* Burger Bun
* Chuck Steak
* Cheddar Cheese
* Salt and Pepper
* Caramelized Onions
* Mustard
Step 1: Step 1: to Start Off We Need to Make the Patty.
Setup either a mincer or food processor with the cutting blades.
I’m using chuck beef; I find it has great flavour for a burger. Mince the chuck beef. I like my burgers to have a fat ratio of 70% meat to 30% fat, this will give you juicy, tender burgers.
Step 2: Slice Some Cheese Into Strips.
Slice some cheese into strips. I’m using cheddar but feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
Take a hand full of the mince and mould the first patty.
Then layer out the cheese in two layers.
Mould the second patty but make this one 10% larger
This will allow you to fold the edge down and seal the cheese inside.
Place them in the fridge for half an hour just to firm up.
Step 3: Next, You’ll Need to Light a Chimney of Charcoal.
Setup the BBQ for direct grilling.
Step 4: Now, Place the Patty Over the Charcoal.
Make sure to rotate the patty minute.
Cook for 2 minutes before flipping.
Toast your bun now if you like.
Cover with the lid for 2 minutes for beautiful melted cheese in the centre.
Now it’s time to make this burger.
Step 5: Place the Patty on the Bun.
Spoon of a layer of caramelized onions.
Then add some mustard to the top half of the bun before placing it on top.
Step 6: There You Have It! Juicy Lucy (or Jucy Lucy) Cheeseburger
TBOIA: or a Juicy Louis for the male equivalent.
urnbabyurn: I hate cheese inside the meat because it makes it impossible to get a medium rare or pink center.
HeftyJo: About 75% of the time the cheese will just end up oozing out the side of the patty and plop down into the bottom of the grill. Just cook the meat and lay the cheese on top at the end, like, cuz it works. Stuffing the patty is just a gimmick.
Hanzo_nl: To increase juicyness, add salt after grilling the patty, and not before.
