– 1/3 cup honey
– 1/4 cup chicken broth

– Add the chicken thighs and cook until both sides are golden and cooked through
– Reduce heat after searing on both sides and cover pan with a lid and continue cooking until the chicken is cooked through while turning every 5 minutes until done
– When chicken is done and cooked through, add the garlic between the chicken and fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds)

MC_Dent: I’d be interested to hear how you got the rice like that, I really like the way it looks on the plate.
Ariel_Etaime: Yummmm
SweetJimmyK: Can someone explain to me what exactly sesame seeds bring to the table here? I just find them flavorless and annoying. Am I missing something?
TheBrianJ: Seems like a simple recipe, plus it appears to be approved by Gaston’s chef, so how could we possibly go wrong?
Radioactive24: You should just wait until it’s plated to add the sesame and negi.
Putting them on in the pan and then spooning the glaze over top after you added the toppings is counter intuitive.
Plus, this is really just glazed chicken thigh. With no marinating or anything, it’s not going to have much flavor really sunk in past the outer layer.
poloport: Why must people always put sauce all over the rice? Its not like giving people the opportunity to select just how much sauce they have with their rice will ruin the dish
doohicker: Save some time, pre-mix a batch of [Paula Deen’s house seasoning](https://www.pauladeen.com/recipe/house-seasoning/), fam:
* 1 cup salt
* 1/4 cup black pepper
* 1/4 cup garlic powder
syndus: I pooped today
