st3phyyy: 1. Wash and let your strawberries dry. Very dry without a single drop of water
2. Melt milk chocolate with double boiler. Key is to make sure water does not touch the bottom of your bowl and the water is not boiling
3. Let the chocolate slowly melt. Stir occasionally (NOTE: do NOT use wooden spatula)
4. Dip the strawberries and place them on a non-stick baking sheet. Decorate with peanuts before placing on baking sheet
5. Melt the white chocolate using the same technique
6. Put the chocolate in the fridge for about 10 mins before decorating with drizzle
7. Put the melted chocolate in a ziplock bag. Cut a small hole in the corner and squeeze lines across the berries
8. Store the berries in a cool environment (some refrigerate some don’t, I am still trying to figure out which is best)
JangSaverem: As I’ve made them a few times in the past
24 hours
No problem
48 gets a bit mushy
72 just eat them all
muffinnosnuthin: Wow they look professional! In the little cupcake holders and everything. Good job!
rcg333: That’s a sex fruit! A sex fruit.
millennial_scum: I interpreted your caption wrong and thought you meant that you hoped no one ate them all within 24 hours. Cuz I would-especially after that challenge.
Nirabisbored: Mine didn’t look nearly as pretty; but, the wife still loved mine.
Hope yours were appreciated!
Esteban_Francois: I’d say this lasts me 3-4 Days… then 3-4 minutes later they’re all gone….
Safarionisla: Nice job! They’re beautiful!
Meganonreddit: YUM
PumpkinKits: You have better willpower than I. Those would NOT last 24 hours in my fridge.
wasplace: Op, I assume you meant to bring these by earlier. Did you get lost? 🙁 Hope you’re okay! Pm me if you need my address to send berries!
jackie9566: yummie my weakness
asimplescribe: I would have gone deeper. Plenty more room for chocolate on those berries.
