isleepbad: Greg has competition.
BenzieBox: My sister loves these. They made them on a camping trip for Girl Scouts and ever since, has begged me to make them for/with her. Unfortunately, I don’t have a grill or access to an area for a camp fire. Do you think this could work in the oven? Like maybe use the broiler? I’d love to surprise her one weekend with a movie/banana bar night lol
orangasm: Slight variation. Penut butter, Nutella, and marshmallows…… Firing up the grill now….
rumorzcoffee: This seems to be forgetting a few steps:
You split it down the middle, then open it a bit and stuff the chocolate and marshmallows inside. Graham Crackers in smaller chunks all around the edible banana part, as well as a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar. Wrap them more tightly, and ideally put directly on coals. Put chocolate sauce on after cooking and opening. Much Better!
Dudew8: I have tried this with only choclate and it is super good 😀
Spiral_Out_462: Needs more ice-cream imo.
Ariel_Etaime: But the marshmallows aren’t even melted or have a toasty brown skin yet!
kula_shakur: Slight improvement:
1. Slightly mash or cut the banana in pieces while still resting inside the peel.
2. Those graham cracker crumbs and nut chunks were way too big.
3. Put a tiny bit of really good butter (like Kerrigold) on the banana before the toppings. Maybe even a dash of salt. Puff of cinnamon.
evilmnky45: This looks kinda gross
KeepScrollingReviews: I really want to try this. But for some reason I can’t imagine what it tastes like, as I’ve never had a grilled banana. I’d imagine it’s pretty funky despite the positive comments here.
SparklingGenitals: I’ve seen similar stuff to this recipe a lot before. Really, you can add anything which would taste good with banana. Rollo candies work really well, too. And if you’re camping, they also work well to completely cover with foil and lay in a bed of coals.
caffieneandsarcasm: Ooh nostalgia! We used to make these almost every time we went camping when I was a kid. My dad and I would munch on them while watching the fire and talking about whatever a dude and his daughter talk about late at night in the middle of nowhere. It was seriously the best part of my childhood.
RedDragons: Hot Bananas are gross.
TheCuntyVaginaShow: We would make a version of these and cinnamon apples over the campfire growing up! (:
shiaradark: [/r/WeWantPlates](https://www.reddit.com/r/WeWantPlates/)
Desiner21: Okay so this looks pretty awesome! If I were to grill it that’s 8-10 minutes on what heat level?
ItsAidanNotAiden: Ive tried these, the gif makes it look cleaner than it actually is. Granted, it is a banana with marshmallows and chocolate roasted over a fire. But from experience,
Dont do this. The taste is.. meh, and it gets… sticky. Because the skin gets burnt, it leaves a sticky residue on it so you’d have to eat it with the tin foil on. Also the campire gets all sorts of disgusting. And if you overstuff it by accident then its all over
thinkandbefree: Take that Greg.
thecuttingedge5111: I bet that’s good
TrapMster: Not grilled, basically roasted
positivepeatmoss: needs whip cream
jorrylee: And a little bit of amrula drizzled over top after cooking. (alcohol)
Tralan: You and Greg just reach in and grab stuff right off the grill.
coldvault: So it’s a saccharine baked potato?
JCMCX: As a guy from Texas, seeing someone call grilling “BBQing” I’m triggered.
ih8redditbutwhatevs: This is fuckin disgusting.
Also grilling is NOT bbqing. Shitty gif
jackcslimming: I would say this was average as fuck, but in fact it is well below average
superdanknotes: Fucking diabetics R US
GetBuckChuck: Why?
