icingonthesteak: **Combine white chocolate, Oreos, cookies & cream chocolate and you will create a very sweet, decadent cake that both looks & tastes fantastic. The dense moist white chocolate mud cake is layered with oreo ganache before being topped with white chocolate ganache, Oreo pieces and finally cookies & cream chocolate. This cake will definitely cover your Oreo & chocolate cravings!!**

**Ingredients:**
• 250 g Unsalted Butter chopped
• 200 g White Chocolate chopped
• 1 1/2 cups Caster Sugar
• 1 cup Milk
• 1 3/4 cups Plain Flour sifted
• 1 cup Self-Raising Flour sifted
• 2 Eggs whisked
• 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
• Cookies & Cream Chocolate sliced to garnish cake
*Ganache*
• 500 g White Chocolate Bits
• 1 cup Thickened Cream
• 140 g Oreos crushed – about 14 Oreos
**Instructions:**
1. Pre-heat a fan forced oven to 160°C (320°F).
2. Grease and line two 20cm round springform baking pans.
3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, add butter, white chocolate, caster sugar & milk. Stir continuously until mixture is fully combined and smooth. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
4. In a large bowl add plain flour and self-raising flour.
5. Add white chocolate mixture, eggs & vanilla extract. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, stir until fully combined.
6. Pour mixture evenly into the two baking pans.
7. Place in oven and cook for 45-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before turning out onto wire racks to cool completely.
*Ganache*
1. Add white chocolate bits and thickened cream to a large heatproof bowl.
2. Place over a saucepan of simmering water and stir mixture until fully combined and smooth. Remove from heat, allow to cool then chill in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes until mixture has thickened.
3. Remove from refrigerator and whisk for about 30 seconds.
4. Divide mixture evenly between 2 bowls.
5. Crush half the Oreos, add to one bowl and fold through the ganache.
*Cake Assembly*
1. Place one cake onto a plate and top with the Oreo ganache.
2. Place the second cake upside down on top of the ganache. Note. level the cake by trimming the top if required.
3. Top this cake with the white chocolate ganache.
4. Break the remaining Oreos and place on top of the cake.
5. Add cookies and cream chocolate on top of the ganache if required.
