This is the best mai tai I’ve ever had, based on the original recipe from Trader Vic.

* 1oz (30ml) Jamaican pot still rum
* 1oz (30ml) Rhum Martinique
* .75oz (22ml) fresh lime juice
* .5oz (15ml) dry curacao
* .25oz (7ml) orgeat
* .25oz (7ml) rich simple syrup
* Mint sprig
*Directions*
* Add all liquid ingredients to a shaker tin with 12oz of crushed ice
* Add in a couple extra ice cubes for texture
* Shake for 15 seconds
* Dump into a double old fashioned glass
* Float on top the inverted and used half lime shell
* Clap mint spring and garnish next to lime
