Nickyeah: its 9 o’clock in the morning and I havent eat and I am sulky
SloppyMeathole: I love this his commitment to charcoal. Deep frying on a charcoal grill. Literally the most difficult way of doing it.
gregthegregest2: Here’s the original source video recipe: https://youtu.be/P6bvsSOfmBg
This was amazing! It’s the best of buffalo wings but in sandwich form.
Thank you to everyone for their support! I think I finally figured out how to improve my gifs!
Look4theHelpers: Chicken thigh instead of breast buffalo chicken sandwich. Never had it, will try it.
My salivary glands twinged
vitamincheme: Thank you for using Frank’s and blue cheese and not making some bastard version with god-knows-what and ranch.
godrestsinreason: I’m gonna start by saying that I don’t give a fuck that you deleted the original post to repost this, because keeping this subreddit active when we can have days go by without new OC will kill this subreddit. I’m not the only person here, and I understand that most people haven’t seen this, and will benefit from it being on the front page.
I think you’re doing the subreddit a service in keeping it active during a drought of OC.
I2ed3ye: Just a heads up: I go through a lot of Frank’s here in the States. And as a previous line and fry cook, you *got* to use Frank’s for buffalo. The best deal I’ve ever seen at a grocery store is $.20/oz. Absolutely hate Wal-Mart, but they have the 64 and 128oz jugs for ~$0.12/oz. Totally worth the shame.
luciliddream: I summoned a food god
the_ebdbbnb: Shoutout to you Greg, thanks for making this sub better
Patriarchal_Wiener: A good Buffalo chicken sandwich is depressingly hard to find in restaurants anymore. At some point, everyone stopped making them. You can get spicy chicken, or some derivation of the idea of a buffalo chicken sandwich, but this glorious sandwich has all but disappeared from every restaurant in my area.
Matta_G: Looks great, Greg.
Gashcat: lettuce on the bottom… bold move
wasdie639: If you wanted to all out, wouldn’t it also be wise to marinate the chicken in a buttermilk marinade overnight. Buttermilk really tenderizes chicken.
