RAD_or_shite: * 2 oz tequila blanco
* 1 oz Patrón XO Incendio
* 1/4 oz lime juice
* 8 strawberries
You’ll also need a spherical ice mold. You can use a regular ice mold if you don’t have one.
1. Blend strawberries and freeze with a little water in spherical ice mold.
2. Once frozen, add to a lowball glass.
3. Add tequila blanco, Incendio and lime juice to a shaker filled with ice.
4. Shake for 10-15 seconds until chilled.
5. Add to lowball glass.
6. Serve!
**Result:** A drink that starts fruity, turns sour, ends spicy. 100% tasty and pretty interesting in flavour combination too.
I make video-game inspired cocktails over at [Experience Bar](https://experience-bar.com/). This week, I decided to have a go at an homage to the new creepy pulsy gross plague hearts in State of Decay 2.
It also gave me an opportunity to use my spherical ice molds for something other than cooling straight whisky, as well as a chance to use the Patron XO Incendio that has been sulking at the back of my liquor cabinet.
If you’re curious about why I used these ingredients in particular for the Plagued Heart, I’ve got a bit of a write-up over at the [main recipe page](https://experience-bar.com/2018/05/27/plagued-heart-state-of-decay-2/).
