Gingafer81: MORE BASIL!!!!
thekaz: This looks pretty simple and quick, which is perfect for an after work weekday meal. Have you tried salting the mushrooms before cooking them? I’ve found it pulls more moisture out of the mushrooms more quickly, and gives them a better flavor and texture
TheMightyWoofer: cook the mushrooms in butter next time. It’ll be less oily.

IradaKitchen: This delicious pasta meal has only a few ingredients, but is packed with flavors (tomato sauce, mushrooms, garlic and fresh basil).
Make this easy to make pasta dish at home and enjoy!
The Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. of Olive Oil
4-5 cups of quartered or thickly sliced mushrooms
2-3 cloves of grated garlic
4 cups of any stock of your choice (beef, chicken or veggie)
1 lb. of Penne Pasta
3 cups of Pasta Sauce of your choice
Salt and Pepper to taste
Some Parmesan Cheese for sprinkling
Fresh basil leaves for garnishing
Preheat your pot over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Add mushrooms, cook and stir them until they are lightly browned and tender. Add grated garlic and season your mushrooms with salt and pepper.
To maximize garlic flavor, you can also add it with your sauce to pasta after it is cooked like I did in this video.
Add your stock to mushrooms, mix and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir in the pasta and allow it to cook for about 10 minutes or until your pasta is cooked and absorbed all the liquid.
When the pasta is done, add your pasta sauce and stir for a minute.
Sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
Enjoy!!
