kan-neigh: Meatloaf
Ingredients:
– 1lb lean ground beef
– 1 egg(wisked)
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/2 tsp Tabasco
– Tsp thyme, parsley leaves, chilli powder, garlic powder,
– Sprinkle salt and pepper
– 1/2 green pepper(sautéed in frying pan first with onion power until soft
– 4 pieces of bread(toasted) and crumbled
– 2 tblsp Ketchup
– Brown sugar
To do:
-Preheat oven 350 degrees F
-Mix all ingredients in bowl except brown sugar until thoroughly blended(normally use hands)
-In separate bowl mix brown sugar and ketchup and for this step I normally guess with portion amount until there’s enough brown sugar to make it a creamy paste
-Put bowl with hamburger and all other contents into loaf pan
-Spread brown sugar paste on top
-Cook for 50-55 minutes, I normally stop at 50 minutes then cut it through the middle to check.
-Switch pans to get rid of excess grease
-Let sit 10 minutes before serving
Potatoes(on average 15 mini potatoes)
Ingredients:
-6(ish) Fresh basil leaves cut up
-tsp Garlic powder
-tsp Salt
-tsp Pepper
-3 tblsp Butter
-Boil on high for roughly 35 minutes or until you can poke and it slides off fork
-Strain all water
-In large bowl mix all ingredients together(again approximate with how many potatoes you cook) then shake until all potatoes are evenly seasoned
Cauliflower: boiled for approx. 15 minutes
Cheese sauce
Ingredients:
-1/3 Flour
-1/2 cup milk
-2 tsp Garlic power
-Tsp Salt
-Tsp Pepper
-3 Tblsp Butter
-Cup of cheese
