Recipe
1 cup vegetable or canola oil
~20 oz. pretzels – standard, rods, twists, knuggets, soft, mini, flats, thins, etc
1-2 tsp lemon pepper
1-1 ½ tsp garlic salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp adobo
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp hot sauce (Freebird’s Death sauce)
1 pkg dry ranch dressing (Hidden Valley)
1 tsp (heaping) red pepper flakes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200-degrees.
In a small bowl, combine spices/seasonings and oil. Stir to break up any clumps.
In a large (gallon) bag add pretzels and drizzle seasoning mixture over them.
Shake and stir gently to coat the pretzels, allow to marinate for at least a half hour.
Assemble pretzels on a parchment-paper, baking sheet or roasting pan, heat uncovered for Bake for 2 hours at 200-degrees Fahrenheit, stir around every 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool.
