Electro Bolt Cocktail

I make video-game-inspired cocktail recipes over at [Experience Bar](https://experience-bar.com/). This week, I tattooed my wrists with chains and decided to discover what truly makes a man through a Bioshock-inspired cocktail: The Electro Bolt.
===The Recipe===
* 1/2 oz blue curacao
* 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
* 1/2 oz apple juice
* 1/2 oz French brandy
* Champagne
Add the first four ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled. Strain into a coupe, then top up with champagne. Serve!
===The Fluff===
Bioshock is one of my favourite games, period. I was only 14 or 15 when the original was released, and the combination of great gameplay, great mechanics and great story had me hooked from the first step I took out of the bathysphere.
So I was especially excited to finally create a drink inspired by the game, based on the first plasmid you encounter in the game: the Electro Bolt.

Festival Cocktails Masterclass

It is always a pleasure to attend Hemant Mundkur’s cocktail master classes. In keeping with the holiday spirit, he conducted a session on making festival cocktails. Hemant is the Brand Ambassador of Diageo Bar Academy.

After sampling all the nice cocktails it was time for the promised surprise. The surprise was SIMI – Your Personal Bartender. It is a Facebook Messenger chatbot developed by Diageo, that will offer over 2000 DIY (Do It Yourself) cocktail recipes which can be made at home with simple ingredients…

The participants were paired into teams of two. I got an apple as the ingredient for my DIYcocktail…

Simi is quite easy to handle. Just type ‘Simi Your Personal Bartender’ in the search field of Facebook Messenger and type the ingredient you have in your kitchen…

 We chose to make Sky Scraper…

And here’s our creation in which we substituted Lemon grass with Rosemary. The result was amazing…
