striderlas: Lined them things up nice and pretty only to stir em .
Rummy9: Why does nobody ever cut the tails off of shrimp in pasta?
mymindislikeaseive: *Literally* just made something almost identical to this for dinner.
Did shrimp in a frying pan though after cooking some onions first with garlic, butter, dash of cayenne pepper, black pepper, bit of of oregano (or basil works nice too). Splash of white wine. A bit oft he pasta water, mixed in with linguine, sometimes penne.
Finished with only a sprinkle of parm, and fresh chopped parsley.
Wife said it tasted like a $38 plate of seafood pasta at some fancy shit-hole.
bumwine: My only issue with this is that the pasta is what needs the TLC before it goes into the protein, this is almost backwards. The shrimp doesn’t absorb some of those ingredients as well as the pasta, so you’re going to be biting into tasteless pasta if you don’t take a shrimp with you.
Maybe the clip doesn’t show it properly but dumping just-finished pasta into the dish just makes for an uneven experience. Maybe let it finish for five more minutes after mixing.
