BakedPotatoPizza: The spices used makes it Indian, but the breading of chicken does not. Bread is not used as a coating for chicken in India. Rather, you coat the chicken in spices and fry it either as-is in oil, or use a flour batter coating.
freedoms_stain: It’s so close to chicken pakora, you may as well make chicken pakora, which would probably be nicer.
sumaclover: If you fry breading with spices inside, you are basically burning those spices. I learned that the hard way. Just toss the chicken in the spice mix once it’s done.
