thinkandbefree: Sorry, this looked nasty the first time/last time it was posted, like last week. Tots need to be crispy. Bacon renders a lot of fat. Facts. When these come off the heat there is no fat in the pan – there should be like a 1/4 inch at least. So you have soggy tots drenched in bacon fat. The cheese and chives can’t save this, and neither can a repost.

EvesyE: I think a finger food portion of this would have been good enough. Dumping all that cheese and making a giant ball of tots kinda ruined it for me.
air_taxi: Why not just pre-cut the bacon in half strips instead of this method? Seems completely short sighted to not think of that after the first rolling…
Nikolai_Blak: Looks great, the only thing I have against it is, dare I say it, too much bacon per tot. It seems like they just take up too much bacon per tot.
