Can also be dairy-free. So easy and fun to decorate with different toppings!
Recipe
1/4 cup butter, room temp.
1/4 cup vegetable oil.
1/2 cup white sugar.
1/3 cup brown sugar.
2 eggs.
2 tsp vanilla.
2 & 2/3 cups gluten free flour.
1 & 1/2 tsp baking powder.
1/4 tsp baking soda.
1 tsp nutmeg.
2 tsp cinnamon.
3/4 tsp salt.
1 cup milk.
Oven at 220 or 200 fan (425f). Spray mini donut pan with cooking oil spray.
In electric mixer combine butter, oil, and sugars until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla – mix until smooth.
Mix remaining dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Alternate adding milk and flour mix gradually. Start and end with flour.
Easiest to scoop mix into piping bags and pipe into the donut tray. Bake each for 7 minutes. Skewer should be clean. Let sit in the tray for 2-3 minutes before turning out.
Top with whatever toppings you like!
To make chocolate donuts just add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with the dry ingredients.
To make dairy free replace butter with oil and milk with almond milk. Can also replace brown sugar with coconut sugar.
